Ports:Connector on the exteror of a PC's system unit to which a device may be attached.Common ports are keyboard,mouse,monitor,phone.

Expansion Slot: A location on the motherboard into which expansion cards are put in.Expansion cards are circuit board that can be inserted into explansion slot on PC's moterboard to add additional functionality or attach peripheral devices they are also known as add in boards, and adapter boards.

Expansion Buses:it's buses that connects the CPU to peripheral devices.(normally input and output).common expansion buses, PCI and PCI express bus,Hypertransport bus, Card bus-used with portable PC'S.
